res is real estate photography software for Mac and iPhone. Empty your card: brackets group themselves, RAW files merge, and the whole property is edited in one batch. Virtual home staging, twilight or a 2D floor plan can then be added to what you deliver to your clients, at the price shown before each edit.
From camera to property, on the Mac.
Drop in the shoot folder. res reads the EXIF data, groups the exposures of each shot, then asks you how to edit. Nothing is sent until you choose, and canceling costs no credits.
Eight RAW families
Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Olympus, Pentax and DNG. JPEG and HEIC work too.
Brackets grouped automatically
Exposures from your camera taken less than three seconds apart form one shot. Nothing to sort by hand.
HDR merging included
Your RAW brackets are merged on the Mac at no extra cost: each merged shot goes out with the edit you chose, from 1 credit (Retouch).
With JPEG, the best exposure
Exposures already developed as JPEG merge poorly: res keeps the one that suits the scene rather than forcing a merge.
DJI drone shots recognized
res reads the manufacturer from the EXIF data and applies a look suited to aerial views, at the price of the edit you chose. Each drone photo is processed on its own: import one exposure per view.
Images already finished?
“Import only” brings them into the gallery at no credit cost (JPEG, HEIC, PNG or TIFF). You then choose the edits, photo by photo.

What you can deliver to your clients.
The terms and conditions say so explicitly (section 10): you may use res to produce, paid or unpaid, the photos, images, floor plans and brochures you deliver to your own clients.
You may
- Deliver photos, images, floor plans and brochures made with res to an agency, a real estate agent or an owner
- Charge for this work, or offer it for free
- Keep ownership of your photos, both original and edited (section 5)
- Add the logo of your choice as a watermark on export
What is still not allowed
- Sharing your account or credits with a client: they remain personal (sections 3 and 10)
- Delivering a modified or virtually furnished image without telling your client (sections 6 and 10)
- Removing or hiding the notice the brochure carries on edited images (section 6)
- Making our edits available to third parties as a standalone service without written agreement (section 10)
- Presenting a floor plan or floor area from res as an official measurement (section 8)
An image exported on its own carries no notice: tell your client which ones were modified or virtually furnished, so they can state it in their listing. PDF brochures carry the notice automatically. Full text: terms and conditions (in French), sections 6 and 10.

Every property backed up to the cloud, available on both Mac and iPhone.
Your clients’ photos
A photo sent for editing is deleted from our servers within 48 hours. No AI model is trained on your images.
On site, the iPhone is all you need.
For a small space, extra shots or the property’s floor plan, the iPhone does the job, no tripod needed.
Five-exposure HDR
From −3 to +3 EV, captured in one second, aligned and then merged on the iPhone.
Two-axis level
Horizon held within 0.7°, plumb within 1.5°: verticals stay straight.
LiDAR 2D floor plan
Walk, and the floor plan draws itself. On an iPhone with the LiDAR sensor; the full editor is on the Mac.
Put your phone away
Start editing the property and lock the iPhone: a notification lets you know when everything is ready.
What res doesn’t do.
Better to know this before your first shoot.
No slider-based development
Editing is chosen by type of edit, not by fine-tuning exposure or color photo by photo.
2K output
4K comes from a free ×2 upscale. For large-format prints, this isn’t the right tool.
No flash blending
res merges exposures. It doesn’t blend flash and ambient-light exposures.
No merging of drone brackets
Each drone photo is edited on its own: res doesn’t merge exposure series shot with a drone.
A Mac with an Apple chip
The Mac app requires macOS 13 or later and an Apple M1 chip or later. The 2D floor plan requires an iPhone with LiDAR.
Pricing, in credits.
One credit, one edited photo, sky included. The cost is shown before each edit; an edit that fails is attempted up to five times, then refunded.
No-commitment packs, credits valid for twelve months: from the Découverte pack (25 credits, 25 CHF) to Pack 1000 (1000 credits, 599 CHF). Monthly subscriptions from 29 CHF for 40 credits. Prices include Swiss VAT at 8.1 %.
