2D apartment floor plan · LiDAR scan

Walk.
The apartment's 2D floor plan draws itself.

iPhone LiDAR captures walls, corners and plumbing fixtures. res turns it into a straightened black-and-white 2D floor plan. Eight credits, all included — 8 CHF incl. VAT at the Découverte pack price, less with a larger pack.

The scan, live.

Séjour 32,4 m² Chambre 14,1 m² Cuisine 9,8 m² Bains 5,2 m² N Plan indicatif, non contractuel

Walk, and the LiDAR measures. Rooms come in already named, and you adjust the m² with a tap.

Nothing to retype.

Pre-filled rooms

Outlines, likely names, numbering, sorting by area.

Name with a tap

A short list, no keyboard. Nobody types on a job site.

Adjustable m²

The LiDAR measurement stays shown underneath. The official area in the deed always takes precedence.

North

Captured during the scan, adjustable by hand, never overwritten afterward.

Multi-level

Basement, ground floor, upper floors, attic, stacked on export with the total area.

Ceiling height

Measured by the LiDAR. Crucial in attics and penthouses.

Corrections, names, levels and north cost nothing. Floor plans travel to the Mac with the property.

And on the Mac, you finish the plan.

The editor opens the scan survey and makes it editable down to the last line: walls, doors, windows, furniture, dimensions, colors, north. The sheet then goes out as PNG or vector PDF, and into the brochure.

An object library

Kitchens, bathroom fixtures, beds, sofas, stairs, fireplaces: real architectural symbols, several styles per object — round or oval table, straight, quarter-turn or spiral staircase, walk-in shower, corner bathtub.

Ready-to-place sets

Fitted kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room: several pieces of furniture in a single click, each one movable on its own afterward.

Click, place, move

The object follows the mouse, snaps to the nearest wall, and the distance to the walls is shown while you move it.

Walls, doors and windows

Draw a partition, thicken it on the facade, open a wall to merge two rooms, place a door or a window and flip its opening direction.

The survey, then your variants

The measured plan stays intact. Alongside it, as many variants as you like — a third bedroom, an open kitchen — each one starting from the already furnished plan.

Your colors, your figures

Background color per room, text size, adjustable m², weighted area in the title block, interior dimensions and scale bar on the delivered sheet.

Undo / redo on everything, preview before export, and in the brochure you choose which versions go on the “Floor plan” page and how much space they take.

“Indicative plan, not contractually binding.”

The notice is stamped on every exported plan. It isn't a disclaimer, it's your protection.

LiDAR drifts by 2 to 5%

res tells apart the measurement, your correction and the official area. The official area overrides everything.

What you add doesn't change the measurement

The Mac editor draws, corrects and furnishes the plan. The areas, however, remain those of the survey — or those of the deed if you enter them.

Frequently asked questions.

Which iPhone models have LiDAR?
According to Apple's list: iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max. On other iPhone models, the rest of the app works; only the floor plan scan is unavailable.
Is the floor plan contractually binding?
No. The floor plan and the areas derived from the LiDAR scan are indicative and not contractually binding: they include a margin of error and do not replace a survey by an architect or a land surveyor. Only the area stated in the deed, the land register or the condominium (PPE) bylaws is authoritative. Every exported plan carries the notice “Indicative plan, not contractually binding.” Details in article 8 of the terms and conditions (in French).
